Eight Visions, One Dream

British Artist Richard Wentworth was one of eight artists chosen by the Red Mansion Foundation to be sent on their own to China and create a body of work inspired by their experience. This was part of the Building Bridges programme, established by the foundation, which aims to create a dialogue between China and the West. Wentworth spent a month in China working with local artists and in this report he explains how he found the experience and the joy of working on a body of work with no rules set down by the organisation.
