Antony Gormley on Public Art

Antony Gormley talks about art in public spaces and how the idea of allocating a portion of new buildings' construction costs to public art is a good idea in principle but in practice generally leads to mediocre works coming to the fore.
He also discusses his vision for the Fourth Plinth in London's Trafalgar square entitled One and Other. Gormely plans to occupy the plinth with one member of the public every hour over a 24 hour period for 100 consecutive days.
