Fiona Tan at the Biennale

Fiona Tan talks to Jean Wainwright outside the Dutch Pavillion at the 2009 Venice Biennale about her video works on display at the exhibition.

Through the use of long, poignant shots, Tan gives the viewer time to think about what they are seeing, avoiding the conventions of fast editing and the ever present montage.
